Full Stack Developer (Hybrid)
Note: This position is a unionized hybrid role and requires you to live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Job Summary:
The Professional Services Developer is responsible for developing and implementing enterprise-level solutions tailored to meet defined business requirements. Utilizing our established development standards, this role will contribute to the enhancement of both backend and frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL skills, experience with .NET frameworks, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- SQL Development: Write and test SQL code, including complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Software Configuration: Configure enterprise-level software through detailed database entries.
- Software Enhancement: Improve and maintain enterprise software built in VB.NET, as well as web products using ASP.NET, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Solutions Architect, Business Analyst, and Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to process improvements and the standardization of development practices.
- Code Quality: Participate in discussions and code reviews to promote the production of maintainable, high-quality code.
- Knowledge Sharing: Provide guidance to Product and DevOps teams, ensuring that fixes, releases, and patches are effectively integrated into the base product and delivered to clients.
- Documentation: Contribute to the technical knowledge base by documenting processes, solutions, and best practices.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients and project stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
- Problem Resolution: Verify the resolution of issues before closing them to ensure quality delivery.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 1 to 2 years of equivalent coursework in a related specialized field.
- SQL Proficiency: A minimum of 18 months of experience in SQL is required, and a SQL proficiency assessment will be administered during the interview process.
Preferred Qualifications:
- .NET Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft .NET (VB and/or C# and/or ASP.NET Web Forms).
- Web Development: Experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and jQuery.
- API Knowledge: Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Agile Methodology: Knowledge of Agile development practices.

- Work Standards: High standards for work ethic, task completion, accuracy, and time management.
- Personal Management: Accountability, self-management, adaptability, creativity, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
